Bespoke, Not Mass Customization

There is a real difference between choosing from a dropdown and having decisions made around you. Bespoke jewelry can begin with either route: an existing Cadi design you want to make your own, or a fully original idea developed from the beginning.

A small change can be meaningful. A different proportion, stone, engraving, finish or hidden detail may be enough to turn a familiar starting point into something that belongs specifically to you. Other commissions go much further, becoming alternative engagement rings with an architectural or symbolic character, one of a kind engagement rings built around a particular stone, or one of a kind wedding rings developed around the people who will wear them.

Not every custom piece needs the same degree of reinvention. Some clients want subtle personalization; others want one of a kind rings developed much further from the original starting point. Both are valid forms of custom work.

Reworking Family Gold and Stones

Sometimes the material itself is the reason to begin. Clients bring gold from pieces that have sat in a drawer for years, or a stone that has passed through the family, and ask us to make it wearable again.

We evaluate what can be reused and develop the new design around it. Reworking existing gold or an inherited stone preserves part of the original object while allowing its form and purpose to change. It can also affect the final cost because part of the material is already there.

This is how inherited material can become heirloom jewelry you actually wear, carrying the history forward without requiring you to keep the original piece unchanged.

Materials, Techniques and How We Vet Stones

We work in 18K yellow, white and rose gold and 925 sterling silver, with black rhodium when a design calls for a darker surface. Our 18K gold is recycled, while 925 sterling silver is a central material in the collection in its own right.

Maya and Eliad develop each piece together, bringing different disciplines into the process. Maya's background is in product design and architectural lighting. Eliad's goldsmithing moves between traditional and contemporary methods, including North African Berber detailing, hot enamel, filigree, specialized stone setting, mechanical construction, 3D modeling and high-resolution printing for fine jewelry.

The technique follows the design. A piece may need precise digital structure and hand-worked surfaces, or an old decorative method combined with a modern form. The same standard applies to handmade wedding bands, pendants and more experimental pieces.

Every diamond and gemstone we source is examined before it becomes part of a piece, with attention to quality, suitability and responsible origin.

When a design calls for expertise outside our own, we work with a trusted network of specialist artisans built over many years, including master artisans across Europe and artists and specialist makers in Barcelona. Their skills become part of the piece when the idea calls for them.

For Every Milestone, Not Only Weddings

The same process can mark almost any moment worth making physical. Alongside engagement and wedding pieces, clients commission designs for anniversaries, personal achievements, the birth of a child, retirement rings, and sometimes less conventional transitions, including divorce rings that mark the beginning of a new chapter.

That is why we think of what we do more broadly as handmade jewelry in Barcelona, not only bridal jewelry. The work is developed from our studio in El Born, with specialist collaborators brought into the process when their expertise strengthens the final piece.
