We design unique wedding rings and engagement rings for people who want something that is genuinely theirs, handcrafted in our Barcelona studio since 2010. Each ring is made to order, one at a time, for couples who value individuality and long-term meaning over a design everyone else already owns.
Nothing here is mass produced, and because every piece is finished by hand, no two come out exactly alike; that is part of what makes them one of a kind wedding rings. Some couples want two bands that clearly belong together; others want each ring to stand on its own while still speaking to the other. Both are possible.

Engraved Wedding Bands: Meaning Held in the Metal

Engraved wedding bands are one of the things we are asked for most, and inside the band is where the personal part usually lives. On most of our designs, depending on the piece, we can engrave inside the ring in two ways: a classic engraving in a font that suits the design, or your own handwriting, reproduced from a photo you send us, so the words are literally in your hand.

A date, coordinates, a symbol or a short line works best, up to around 20 characters in most cases depending on the font and the width of the band. Send us an inspiration image or a reference and we will tell you what fits. Inside the ring, the engraving stays private for as long as you want it to.

Custom Engagement Rings, Designed Around One Idea

Custom engagement rings rarely start from a finished sketch, and they do not have to. A stone you have fallen for, a texture, a feeling about how the ring should sit on the hand, any of these is a starting point.

From there we take one of two routes: adapting an existing Cadi design to your metal, width, stone and details, or building a piece from scratch. The same applies to our custom wedding bands. In either case, we document the final design and measurements, giving us a reliable record if the ring needs adjustment, repair or recreation years later.

Alternative Engagement Rings: Choose Symbolism

For many couples a traditional solitaire is not the right fit. Alternative engagement rings put symbolism, color and structure first: architectural forms in 18K gold or 925 sterling silver, hidden stones against the skin, vivid sapphires and tourmalines, in low-profile settings that suit an active life. Quiet and confident rather than showy.

Materials, Ethics & Longevity

We work in 18K yellow, white and rose gold, in 925 sterling silver, and in black rhodium plating for a darker finish. Our 18K gold is recycled.

Every diamond and gemstone is hand selected and checked by our gemologists for quality, suitability and responsible origin. We put real effort into building relationships with suppliers we trust, supported by the knowledge of the specialist artisans we work with.

Gold that has been sitting unworn, or a stone that came down through the family, can be built into the new ring, so the history carries forward and an inherited piece becomes heirloom jewelry you actually wear.

How We Work Together

We work mainly with clients in the US and UK, entirely from a distance when needed: by email, through photos and references you send, over a video call, or in person at the studio in El Born, Barcelona.

You do not need to have every detail worked out before you contact us. We share a concept and a mockup, refine it until it feels right, and nothing is made until you approve it.

What materials are used, and is it real 18K gold?

We work in solid 18K yellow, white and rose gold and 925 sterling silver, with black rhodium used as a surface treatment when a design calls for it. Our 18K gold pieces are stamped with their gold purity mark.

What is the difference between an engagement ring and a wedding band?

Traditionally, an engagement ring marks the decision to marry, while a wedding band is exchanged at the wedding. At Cadi, both are made to the same standard for long-term daily wear, and the design rules are flexible. Some people choose a gemstone or statement ring for the engagement and add a matching band later; others create two pieces that work together from the beginning.

How do you make sure the ring fits if we order remotely?

We send a reusable ring sizer before production and recommend not relying on a printable guide, so the size is measured with a physical sizing tool.

If the size you provide later turns out to be incorrect, or your finger size changes over time, most designs can be resized. The amount depends on the construction, and we will explain any limitations before the ring is made.

Can each ring in a set be a different size or width?

Yes, and it is often the better choice. Hands differ, so we can make one band wider and one slimmer, adjust each to its wearer, and still hold the two together with a shared line, texture or stone. The set reads as one; each ring fits one person.

How long does a ring take, and how does it ship?

Most rings based on an existing Cadi design take around 2 to 3 weeks to make. A fully custom piece developed from scratch usually takes around 3 to 6 weeks, depending on the design, techniques and whether a particular stone needs to be sourced. Once the design is approved, we give you a clear estimated timeline for your piece. We also make sure delivery time is kept as short as possible. As part of our service, your finished rings ship free, express, worldwide with one of the major trusted couriers we work with, including FedEx, UPS or DHL.

How do you pay, and can the cost be spread out?

We understand that wedding rings are a significant purchase, often one you make only once, so we are happy to discuss the most comfortable way to structure the payment with you where possible.

We accept all major cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay and PayPal. We also offer three interest-free payments on orders up to €2,000. If you would like to discuss a different payment arrangement for your project, contact us and we will see what we can accommodate.
